It's weird to write 2010. Anyway, I realized that I should put my twitter account up here. I don't use it too often, and I'm not still entirely sure of it's purpose, but I suppose it'd be cool if you "follow" me. As the year comes to an end, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who has supported me in my endeavours thus far. It means so much to know that there are people who care about the music I am making. I have a lot of really cool stuff lined up for this year, and I'm super pumped to be able to share it with everyone!
- As my first foray into the new decade, I will be playing at Milkboy Acoustic (824 West Lancaster Ave. Bryn Mawr, PA) on January 1st for FREE. BE THERE! I'm taking requests so let me know if there's anything you want to hear!
- I somehow managed to sell all the copies I had of A Fisherman's Drought, but I will make more when I get back to Chicago.
- Cage Match will be finishing our demo as soon as we're together again.
- I plan on finishing Alright, I Guess this month. Don't count on it, though. Plans break.
- I bought a videocamera. Awesome things coming soon.

- So, the cat's out of the bag. My new band with Adam from Hawkward, Bryan from The Trickle-down Effect, and JT played our first show last night. We're still working on a name, but we're recording next week. Get pumped!
- Like So is setting up a CD release show for Goes To The Supermarket And Never Returns. Our dear friends Richard Def & The Mos Pryors will play as well. Details to come soon.
- If you'd like me to play a show with any of my bands anywhere, just ask. The answer will probably be "yes!"

Back in Chicago, finally. I'm still sorta getting set up, but I love it here. If anyone has a couch they can sell me for cheap, please e-mail me (seth at sethengel dot com).
I finally fixed the discography section and it now has download links for most of the albums!! The weather will hopefully stay nice for a little while longer, and classes start tomorrow. I'm pretty excited! Well, here's the band update:
- LIKE SO: is living in the same apartment and brewing new songs. We put up a song called Drop Trou which can be heard on MySpace.com/LikeSoMusic
- HAWKWARD: no idea what's going on.
- OPTIONS: halfway through recording the full length, I hope. I have a lot of work to do. I'm shooting for a November release if I make good use of my time.
- and I'm playing drums in a new band I can't tell you about yet, but it's pretty good. I promise.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Gareth from the UK and Yu from Japan for writing to me! I get about four messages a year from people who I don't know who like my music, and it is truly inspiring to hear from you.

So, uh, it's been a while. I know, but I have been very busy! Here's what's been up:
- OPTIONS: I released two Options EPs and I am currently working on a full length.
- HAWKWARD: We finally released our five song demo, and we also went on tour to Texas.
- LIKE SO: I will finally be reuniting with these wonderful dudes in about two weeks from now! Demo to come as soon as we can get it done to our liking!
My friend Rasan's album that I played drums on is up for downloaded for Pay What You Want here. Also, my friend DiEL released his album that features me on 3 songs playing drums, and you can buy it at his website
I can't wait to move back to Chicago already, because this year is about to get even better than it already is!
keep it real, and I promise that I'll try to update more often. Should have all the pages updated by the end of tonight.

As the year comes to a close, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has listened to my music in the past year. 2008 has been good to me, for sure. I am in talks with a couple labels about releasing new stuff - I don't wanna talk about it until its confirmed. hopefully it works out. sweet

1) Miniscule Recordings is OPEN until January 20th. If you want to get in contact, check out the "recordings" page at the top. My rate is "whatever you think is fair." I prefer 2 hour sessions MINIMUM.
2) Two days till showtime... I'm getting excited to debut this new Options stuff! Come check it out at Milkboy Coffee. It's on 12/18 with Smile From Tokyo. Awesome!

I bet you're asking "what's the catch? will this give my computer a virus?" The answer is no, you will not get a virus. However, I do ask that if you enjoy it, you send it to as many people as you possibly can. Options is doing a few dates this winter, and thats all for now.

So apparently I've been getting some play on KUST (www.stthomas.edu/kust) and I wanted to thank Maia and Annie from Kablammmmm for helping to spread the word about Options. I will be giving a new update in a few weeks, I have some cool things to share with you all. I visited philadelphia last weekend and managed to snag a few copies of the last three Miniscule Records releases, so if you order them they should arrive in a timely fashion since I'm taking care of shipping for the meantime.
I'm trying to work out a couple mini-tours this winter, so if you go to www.myspace.com/optionstheband and see a tour date that you can help with, LET ME KNOW!
that'd be so cool if I can actually do a tour. Basically, all I care about is playing for people who want to hear my music and being able to afford a ride to wherever i'm going next. Fantastic.

I'm going to begin to post things other than "I'm updating my site soon, I swear!" Currently, I am getting new ideas and creating a bit of a new look. More tabs, for sure. Options is planning some things for the winter, I will post a follow-up. I have been looking into new packaging options for the next 3 or 4 Miniscule Records releases... About Me section coming soon. I wanna seem a little professional... I'm playing drums in two new groups which will hopefully release recordings soon. There may be another Options record in the works, we'll see. I also played drums for three songs which will appear on DiEL's upcoming album. Stay tuned for majour website updates.

First day of college, tons of music in the works. Things are good, I just bought an electric drum set so I can demo more music between all my work. I will update soon. Options may do a show or two in the winter, but its being downsized. I'll be posting things in the download section soon.
